Grolsch Open Dutch Championship Runarchery / Summer Biathlon 2010

Grolsch Open Dutch on 24 and 25 September 2010. Also Eurocup competition.

Friday 24 September will be a warming up: the first sprint archery in Holland. Per heat there will be 4 runs over 300 meter and a shooting of 3 times 3 arrows; every miss will cost 25 seconds. The 10 runners with the best times will meet in the final. Seperate competition for Youth (untill 17 years old on 1th of January 2010) and seniors.

Saturday 25 September will be the Eurocup / Grolsch Open Dutch Championship runarchery 2010. Their will be heats, the winners of the heats, completed with the time-fastest athletes (20 in total) will meet in the semi-finals. From the Semi final the 3 first finishers per heat and the 4 time-fastest runners in the semi-finals will meet in the final. Per heat there are 4 runs of 900 meter. At the central point you have to shoot 3 times 3 arrows; every miss cost an extra round of 140 meters. Shooting is at a distance of 20 meters and the target has a diameter of 20 centimeters. Seperate competition for Youth (untill 17 years old, 400 meters per run) and seniors. International rules.

We invite international athletes to join the sprintarchery and Dutch Open Runarchery competition. Participation is free for athletes with habitat outside of the Netherlands. On demand we will arrange transport from the airport and sleeping accomodation for international athletes. We look forward to your participation.
